What information may be collected?
Name, Address, Email, Telephone Number, Image Subject Preference
Why do I need this information and how will it be used?
To fulfil customer print orders.
To send shipping quotations.
To answer customer enquiries
To send occasional opt-in emails for marketing purposes.
How is the information stored?
The information is stored electronically on one personal computer and up to two external hard drive backups, all password and virus protected.
Who has access to the information?
One person has access to the full information - Carol Herbert.
Your name and address are supplied to the manufacturing photo lab in order that your order can be shipped to you directly. Your email address is not disclosed and all photo labs used for the production of your order adhere to current GDPR best practice guidelines.
Is this information ever shared with a third party?
No.
How long is the information stored?
I retain full details of your purchase, including your name, address, phone number and email, for a period of up to 7 years in order to comply with any HMRC tax and accounting requests.
Your name, address, order number and payment amount will be stored by Paypal as per their Terms of Service.
For mailing list subscribers, I retain the submitted email address indefinitely until such time removal is requested.
How can I find out what information you hold?
You can get a copy of all the information I hold on you by sending an email request to enquiries@realworldart.co.uk*.
You can request an amendment or deletion of either all or part of the information I hold by sending an email request to enquiries@realworldart.co.uk*.
*Please note that in the interests of security, I may refuse to supply the information if the request comes from an email address that does not match the one I hold for you. If this is the case you will be contacted to verify the request is genuine. Certain information cannot be deleted in accordance with HMRC Tax requirements. Please allow 7 working days for the information to be provided/amended.
