Eala Bhan Canvas Wall Art Print
Eala Bhan Canvas Wall Art Prints.
Crafted with precision and care, this artwork is printed onto finely textured 400gsm cotton canvas, using state-of-the-art professional printing methods to ensure the highest possible quality and resolution.
The canvas is hand-stretched over a 38mm deep made-to-measure knotless pine stretcher bar frame guaranteed not to warp or bow, milled with a curved profile to minimise contact with the face of the canvas and prevent unsightly impression marks and surface cracking.
By default, your Eala Bhan canvas art will be supplied with an image wrap edge, seamlessly extending the artwork around the sides. Customize your order with different edge options to suit your preference.
Following an overgrown path beside the ruins of Invergarry Castle down to Castle Bay, Loch Oich, we found this abandoned ship - the Eala Bhan ("White Swan"). The 50-ton traditional herring trawler was built in Peterhead in 1961 and fished the seas around the Outer Hebrides for over 30 years before being converted to a passenger boat sailing the Caledonian Canal (of which Lock Oich is the highest part). After the conversion she had 6 cabins, 2 heads/showers, a galley, a bar, library and central heating throughout, and received nothing but praise from passengers for the skipper and crew. Unfortunately she was damaged by a storm around 2007/2008 and abandoned to the elements.
To reduce the load on mobile data the image has been uploaded at a reduced dpi, which may affect how some detail is displayed. All images are printed at 300dpi or higher. Depending on the calibration of your screen, image colours and brightness may appear less vibrant than the actual print.
